My original SuperSport

I was fortunate enough to once own this motorcycle and silly enough to sell it! This is a photo I took shortly before I sold it, probably some time in 1979. I took seven photos that day, and no others ever, but I like this one the best. The angle gives a look of power, and shows off that beautiful four-into-one exhaust, plus the tank, other features and the overall design of the bike. It also invokes some other personal history for me (see below) not to mention memories of the um ... friends ... who used to sit on the back sometimes! Click the image for a larger view.

This photo was taken in Tamworth, here ...
... that's Tamworth in NSW Australia (yes Country Muzac Capital) where I was borned and raised up to age 17. The church in the background is where I was sent to Sunday School and was probably taught very well, but it didn't sink in until I was about 16! Many years prior to this my grandfather had a blacksmith shop near the building that's peeping around from behind the tail light. Later he had an engineering company, and he made the cross that sits at the top of the church.
